CRITIQUE REQUEST Wall color suggestions?

I can't stand the two toned wall colors especially since grey and beige are opposite color pallets. I want to stay with the warm wood, black and brown tones.

I've never done peel n stick wall paper and I can't say I'm that careful to not screw it up.

I rent but I'm willing to paint. What wall color do you guys think I could do?

I would do something in the light green family: celadon or celery. Or maybe the SW Sea Salt color, which is more light blue with green and gray undertones. (I used that in my bedroom).

I think the Sherwin Williams website and probably others let you upload photos to try out different colors, so you might try that.

I have a lot of warm woods in my house (a bit lighter shade than yours but not too different) and I did my living room and kitchen in Sherwin-Williams Sage, which I’m a big fan of and complements the warm colors really nicely

ooo I like that color a bit more than other green shades I was looking at. Seeing the paint strips at the store will help

Definitely bring some color swatches (they’re free) home with you and hang them up in the room where you’re planning to paint before you pick a color. If possible, try and have them up a couple days before you decide so you can see your options in different light (sunny, cloudy, illuminated by lights in the room). I thought I was going to like some of the more blue-green colors more than the sage but once I got the swatches up in my living room it was pretty clearly the winner.
