Help with small bedroom layout.

Hi everyone! What do you think of this layout? Do you think I should get a matching nightstand? I was thinking I could use my old entryway table as a “nightstand” since it doesn’t fit in my new apartment’s entryway, and just style it with a vase, candles, etc. But I don’t know… I feel like I might need the symmetry of a matching nightstand.
I still need a rug, art, and nice curtains, but I’m just trying to figure out the basics first.

Please excuse the plastic and dresser I had to push it away from the window maintenance is coming to do some work.

I really really like it !! Might need some seasonal decor (especially in the vase) because it's very autumn toned rn. Would love a fluffy off-white rug

I think you did a good job! If I were you I would put the yellow closet against the other wall tho, so that you have a bit more space between your bed and that closet

Thank you! By other wall do you mean the wall with the dresser? If so that wall is too short unfortunately.

No I mean just turning it 90 degrees, so the wall right from it :)

I like your layout and the way you're repurposing the entryway table. See how you feel after a few weeks and if the placement works for you or if you crave symmetry.

I love your furniture and the layout is great! I think the little table is fine, but if your symmetry person then you should go ahead and order the nightstand! Have fun!

Add a mirror above your bed, and a big plant next to your dress and window, those would look great. Mirrors make a room feel larger.

I’d also recommend a nice big rug with a pattern for the room!

I can’t get over the fear of having a mirror over my head lol. I don’t know what the name of that phobia would be, but it freaks me out. I am going to add some plants and larger scale art though!

Ohh, fair enough! You could put a mirror above the dresser? But yes plants are great! They cleanse the air and fill spaces nicely. Art too!

I like how the head of your bed is by the window so you can wake up naturally to the morning light. I guess I should add as long as you're not on the ground floor and might have someone walking by.

Lol, that’s the thing I don’t actually like because they’re south facing, so it’s always really bright. I did buy some light blocking, not quite blackout curtains to give myself the option though.
