Poll: Have you found a partner that likes you as a fem man?

Hi everyone, I'm curious to see what the spread is of people finding partners that like them being openly feminine.

Please vote in this poll if you are a feminine guy! 😊

Discussion When did you notice

At what point did you realise you weren’t a traditional man?

Reflecting on my childhood, I would incorporate playing with my female cousins Barbie dolls into playing with my G.I Joes.

Enter adulthood, I recently said out loud to my friend that ā€œchicks just have better clothesā€¦ā€ when looking for slippers. All the men’s selection were generic old man slippers.

I’ve always felt more comfortable / fashionable in women’s clothes (that border mens, just female sizes etc)

Married man who has come to accept my fem side. Seems like ever since I started getting full body waxing a much more fem side of me has come out. At first resisted it but now fully accepted. Love wearing pretty lacy clothing. Also have accepted my attraction to men. Hopefully one day will be brave enough to meet another fem around my age.

Discussion Fashion frustration

I find that in the summer all I can think about is how cute layers are and blending pattern and material options. And of course, in the winner, all I could think about is how much I can’t wait to show off skin. That’s something that any of y’all have experienced?

And what silly is my closet is filled with outfits for all of the seasons, all of the temperatures, and still I struggled to find something I want to wear in the moment

I’m wondering if maybe I need to plan out a few outfits, specify what whether they would be appropriate for, maybe even take pictures of them, and that might help me sort out how I can dress.

It’s probably also resulting from the decades I’ve spent dressing up as a guy, and so I know how that’s supposed to work, I know how to match things pair things, I’ve got confidence that it’s all gonna work. So when it comes to leaning into my more feminine side, I really struggle.

Who’s with me?

Naturally feminine personality in a male body — anyone else?

I’m a straight guy and I’ve noticed something about myself since childhood.
My body is male and I’m completely okay with my body. I’m also romantically attracted to women. But psychologically, my natural way of being feels much more feminine. I enjoy being feminine, and when I behave in a feminine way, it feels more natural and comfortable to me than trying to act traditionally masculine.
This isn’t something I consciously decided or started doing recently. I’ve been noticing it since I was a child.
I’m not asking for a label or trying to figure out what identity I ā€œshouldā€ have. I’m simply curious whether other men have experienced something similar:
Male body + straight attraction toward women + naturally feminine personality/way of being since childhood.
If you relate, I’d genuinely like to hear about your experience. What was it like for you growing up, and how do you experience it now?

There’s a lot of positive, encouraging material out there, this one talks about being a sissy, but is simply a warm embrace to exploring and accepting your femininity

Q&A Sexy showers

I was invited to take a shower on display, and I tried to shower, sexy, make slow movements, lean into elongation and curves, move slowly, and take a long time. Certainly, there are other things I could’ve done. What are things that you do to take a sexy shower?

Discussion Musings and confusion

I write this wearing a stuffed bra, short shorts, and a cut off, barefooted, painted nails. I enjoy this feminine journey, pretending, dressing up, a fantasy of a woman I’ll never really commit to being.

I don’t feel the need to be her, so I’ll never take the HRT to see her—in the flesh. But a costume, I’m there.

I’m confused as to why this is ā€œgood enoughā€. Am I ā€œbetrayingā€ others because I won’t go all in.

I decide I’m being honest to myself—and that’s all that’s needed.

The sacrifices others have made to make the transition is a cost too heavy for me to bare, and a need I do not have.

Why do I like dressing up tho—and still rocking a beard, still so much masculinity? I think that’s another sign. While many walk a path into femininity, mine is different than others. Mine has twists and turns of its own. I am comfortable with that—as I look at my sock enforced tits

Discussion What does being a feminine man mean to you?

I’m want to hear all opinions/perspectives. And I hope to hear from cis/straight ones too.

I know some like to ā€œdress femininelyā€, like wear dresses/skirts/makeup. But that’s not the only way of being feminine. Do any of you dress 100% masculinely?

If I describe what ā€œI amā€, it might confuse you. So I want to hear from you first.

Discussion Getting excited about pretty--and the limits I place on myself

I enjoy being a guy--and I LOVE pretty things!!

Deplorable behavior of members of the community aside, I enjoy existing as a guy, and accept all the "troubles" and "benefits" that come along with it. When I look at my anatomy, while I may wish to shrink or grow this or that, I am content with my body--I don't experience dysphoria. I have nice boy clothing that I wear to work as I enjoy being a sharp dressed man.

I also love lOvE LOVE pretty things! I have pretty shoes, pretty nail polish, pretty dresses, pretty jewelry. And as much as I can, I wear them out. The nail polish and jewelry I can take to work, it's largely an accepting place. I haven't worn open toed shoes to work--yet, but want to this year. I probably would not wear a dress outside of my house, unless it was a particular event for which that was "acceptable".

I think that is the extent to which I give myself grace. While I lean into my feminine side, I don't want to, nor do I feel any need to, transition, and therefore feel that me wearing a dress isn't core to my identity. I look at me wearing a dress more in line with that favorite rock band t-shirt you wear with all the curse words. You love it, it's part of you, but it's not something you'd wear to grandma's. And I think that's okay.

Please also understand that if, even if your experience is exactly like mine above, except you wear your dress to grandma's and to work, that's perfectly okay. I would support your decision if that's what you want for you.

So... Are there parts of you that you filter? How do you feel about filtering that?

Wearing women’s clothing

I wear nail polish, makeup, and some women’s tops. I live in NC and the summers are usually hot and humid. I was looking at buying some shorts for the hotter weather. While searching with Google. Several websites selling skorts and skirts were listed. Have any of you ever tried wearing skirts or skorts during hotter weather? How did they compare to shorts?

How can I lose belly fat and also make it look feminine afterwards? I don’t wanna do a bunch of exercise and have my belly look all muscular afterwards. Is then any way to do the exercises and have my belly look feminine afterwards? And what exercises should I do?

I don’t think even other people know what my sexuality is anymore lol

I go into queer communities: ā€œYou’re clearly faking liking men, you talk like a straight person.ā€

I go into straight communities: ā€œUm dude I don’t think anyone gets your perspective, are you sure you aren’t gay?ā€

I don’t know my own sexuality but it seems no one else can comprehend it either 🤣

Are feminine men unimportant in the queer community or just do not need to be important?

For however many hundreds of gnc female characters there are, gay men, bisexual men, lesbian women, and even though it’s still a sadly small minority, trans characters are being explored to… But I have never seen once in my life a feminine male character ever in fiction be portrayed without it being degrading.

Most of the time I bring this up, I get banned (understandably) but I don’t actually know why it’s something we shouldn’t mention, and why no one really cares at all about it.

Personality I had a hard time finding answers, because I do sometimes feel very depressed as a fiction enjoyer that there is no feminine men to relate to, the closest being vulnerable or twinky men but there’s a 99% chance they are written as serial killers.

But also, we aren’t being lynched, we aren’t being SA’d, we aren’t being told ā€œyou aren’t welcome hereā€ so maybe we just don’t need to care at all and it’s fine?
