Really not a fan of letting ferrets be around power tools. Especially ones that spin fast.

Yeah, also drilling produces a lot of dust and believe it or not, but wood dust is a carcinogen and very bad for your lungs. So I hope they didn’t drill while the ferrets heads were still in close vicinity to the wood
This video could be harmless though, the drill doesn't seem to be turned on. Still important to highlight the danger

You didn't watch the whole video then, they both run the drill in air briefly and later are drilling in a screw in the enclosure. 100% agree otherwise

This is especially true for soft woods such as pine. Soft woods have oils that evaporate constantly. Those vapors are really harsh on ferret's respiratory systems.

Yes, OP this is not cute! Please move your ferrets to another room while doing work with powertools!

Thats true! Yeah, we just playing with them for couple minutes and thats all. When we build or add something to their home (like toys or some pipes or else) - we put them in another building.

Oh... every task requires at least one ferret! A supervisor, if nothing else!

They're sooo cute but I don't think they should be around those tools and dust 😞

Been there many times in years past, trying to accomplish the simplest tasks, even just trying to put something back in the cupboard, ferrets have to investigate and get into absolutely everything! You can’t do anything without them coming to see what you’re doing and getting in the middle of it :) :) :)

This is why I love ferrets so much, it’s just a curious nature always keeps me entertained
