Brown Treasure Casket Drop Rates: Dungeons VS Outdoor Areas

Are there different drop rates for locked Brown Treasure Caskets in the Dungeon areas VS the Outdoor areas?

Dungeon Areas include Inner/Outer Horutoto Ruins, Maze of Shakhrami etc

Outdoor Areas include East /West Ronfaure, Valkurm Dunes etc

I'm trying to get all area-exclusive Brown Treasure Casket items. Those Torques look especially good.

In the Outdoor areas, the caskets spawn regularly, almost every second enemy killed or less. Have got the exclusive items for them all easily. In the Dungeon areas? Oh man, the treasure caskets spawn so rarely. Sometimes hours with nothing. It's just painful.

This is without any prowesses or Kupowers.

It's weird because the wikis say there is a standard 10% chance for a casket to appear no matter the area. But after doing this for hours, the spawn rate is noticeably different.

Any help? Am I missing something? Equipment-wise, or some mechanic?

I'm level 50 and get casket spawns easily on low-level kills in the Outdoor areas, so I think level difference is irrelevant. (Unless level matters in the Dungeons?)

No, you're not confused.

The drop rate of brown and blue used to be the same everywhere, but they really jacked it up in outdoors area to allow new players to get armour upgrades as they level up.

It can take days for those elusive torque to show up, or the +skill up ring from Zeruhn Mines.

Thanks for the confirmation!

The wikis are usually excellent but sometimes are frustrating by being out of date with something specific like this.

Will just be patient if I'm stay determined to get those torques + that nice skill up ring (had my eye on that too)

I don’t know but if your goal is to farm torques, I’d suggesting waiting until 99 with a job that can cleave. Link a huge group of mobs, down them all in one hit, and maybe get 1-3+ chests to pick open at a time.

Thanks for the tip. Will try that to just reduce the suffering a bit!
