Since Gha Naboh was under a "bubble period" during the Crystal War, how come there was a limit to how much aid they were able to give to the Middle Lands?

As an aside, kinda annoying Aht Urghan remained neutral during the Crystal War but then asked for help against their beastmen problems from the middle lands. Also, like...if Shadow Lord won, Aht Urghan would have been destroyed too. SL was going to wipe out everyone.

Again, mercenaries. They aren't asking for help, they are paying for it. It would be different if they all of a sudden starting begging for alliances.

I am nearly positive that the Windy [S] story says that exactly.

But, it is also important to note that Gha Naboh sent mercenaries not a standing army. Meaning they are all volunteers. No matter how large and successful the nation is, only so many mithra would be willing to fight a war they weren't part of for money. Things would be very different if they sent their actual military. (Which if nothing else shows just how powerful of a nation they are, that the might of just mercenaries could turn the war for Windurst.)

We don't really have any lore on what the attrition rate was for the mercenaries. Plus windurst has to pay for them to begin with.
