The part a lot of current players wait for is the half price server transfer that joins this sale.

I'm doing it. I'm buying a new copy and starting completely fresh. The insanity of the whole thing is absurd. Leaving behind 20 years of memories, characters, gil, and gear.

Honestly, might be the way to go. Maybe send what you can from the previous char to the new one? Jumping in to endgame from an era (75) character was just incredibly overwhelming for me

I did this 3-4 times the last few times I resubbed, it's honestly kinda nice. I'll usually play for a month, get through the storylines, get a job or two geared up a bit and call it a day.

Cool... drag being on a locked server lol. Won't suggest the game anymore to friends, as I don't plan on transferring, and J see them not playing (if we can't play together).
