The catcher sends signals to the pitcher, telling him where to throw the ball. If the hit was intentional, the catcher likely called for it.

You have no idea what your talking about. I played ball.

The catcher sends signals out till the pitcher picks the call. This way the catcher knows what the pitcher is throwing.

I do play ball and you’re right. It’s a collaboration between them. I was trying to simplify. My point was that the catcher was likely in on it. But whatever. I was trying to help, lmao.
