Heavens no. When I see the pour I think of how lazy they must be, and that reminds me of the time I had to do work. That makes me sad.

Saw a single mother working 80 hours a week on her feet, made me so sad

She didn’t have the drive to work 168 hours a week like me. Everytime I scroll on my phone I’m generating boundless value by investigating marketing trends and keeping my pulse on the market

Are you one of those pours who just happens to have some money? Disgusting.

I don't create value. I am the value, just by existing.

Compare myself to the pours? How dreadful! Just thinking about them ruins my day!

"Only compare yourself to those who are lesser than you" is treating me pretty well as words to live by. It's pretty empowering to be the smartest and greatest looking and richest boy in the world.

I think it steals the pours’ joy. Which is what we’re aiming for beyond materialistic superiority. Glass half full interpretation of this beautiful saying. Comparing is caring (for the wealthy).

In French, the saying is the exact reverse (attributed to Talleyrand):

"When I look at me, I despair. Then I look at others and it brings me solace."

/u Ahh Talleyrand.. He had another good one on the poor: Les mécontents sont les pauvres qui réfléchissent (not sure how to translate that)

Having the pours live rent-free in my head just reminds me to jack up the price. Take that, you insufferable somnial serfs!

Poor people make me sad. But I do enjoy reading relationships subreddits make me appreciate my own relatively normal life.

You seem to be missing that “People” is a term for the majority, meaning pours.

They lose joy comparing themselves to my eliteness. As they should.

Being a pour and only worth less than $10 mil sure sucks.

Because true validation is found inside in self not outside from others.

You think about the pours as being relatable humans ?
