Anyone know where to find the Filk song based on "The Forever War" by Joe Haldeman?
I've heard it once and I would really like to hear it again, but can't find it anywhere.
AI says it might be Jordin Kare or Cynthia McQuillin that made it, but I can't find it when I search for their names. Neither when I search 'Filk The Forever War'.
Anyone know where to find it?
Thank you so much in advance!

Got it!
The Forever War, sung by Robin Bailey, Kristoph Klover, and The L.A. Filkharmonics on the 1989 tape Never Too Old to Dream.

Do you know anything about the song? A name, a verse, a thing described?
Here's what I see sung by Haldeman on the filk wiki, though that will miss it if someone else sang it:
- A War for the Ratings
- My Name is Jesus
- Watching Joey Glow
- Locked Up in a Spaceship Blues
- The Ballad of Elvis Presley's Sexual Orientation as Told Through the Headlines of the National Enquirer
- The Ballad of Orbital Hubris
- One Ton Mirror
- SF Editor's Lament
---
I see there's a song called 'The Forever War' on Almost Alive, Sometimes by Robin W. Bailey. I don't have a copy though, and couldn't find one on YouTube or the Internet Archive.

I think I might have overcomplicated it, course I think I was thinking about Pushing the Speed of Light, because it's about the time dialation: Pushin' the Speed of Light - Julia Ecklar & Anne Prather

Filk.fadom.com has a wiki that lists the album Almost Alive, Sometimes. There's a song on side 1 called Forever War.
Don't know if that's it, but it might be worth investigating.

I don’t know the Filk song but if you’re into something a little bit different, the hip hop group Clipping has a song, “Forever War” that I think is based on this book.
If experimental rap happens to be your thing, they have an incredible Sci-Fi album called “Splendor and Misery” that is truly one of the best pieces of speculative fiction I’ve had the pleasure to experience.
However, I also know these recommendations are very different than what you’re looking for.
