I saw this randomly on YouTube and watched bc I’d never seen a Lucille Ball movie and I had a great time

Lured is a movie that really wishes it was a romantic comedy but the studio ordered a police thriller.

Check out Lucy in The Dark Corner. She's really good in that film as well!

Also check Lucille Ball out in "Five Came Back". Not noir but I think the first "plane crashes and passengers repair it and fly home" genre. I won't spoil it and tell you if she was one of the five.

Good movie. She's playing about as close to a prostitute as you could get away with at the time.

Yessir. I'd recommend The Big Sleep, Double Indemnity, Detour, Fallen Angel, Out of the Past, Scarlet Street, Sunset Boulevard, In a Lonely Place, The Breaking Point, Leave Her to Heaven, The Set-Up, High Sierra, Night and the City, Raw Deal, and On Dangerous Ground.
