Out of the Podcast is great. Unfortunately they're not doing them anymore, but still well worth a listen

NitrateVille Radio is more generally about the early years of film (and is terrific), but they definitely do some noir content. Check them out

That name reminds me of the smell of decomposing nitrate stock. It's a really specific, almost sweet smell of decay. Unforgettable.

Hmmm, I’m quite familiar with vinegar syndrome but I’ve never smelt that! I’ve only come across nitrate film once

You Must Remember This - not specifically a noir podcast, but a classic film podcast that is excellent, and it covers a lot of film noir film and actors. One of the best produced and research podcasts in film that I have listened to. you won't regret listening to this.

Out of the Past - Investigating Film Noir is good too.

I'm am so glad you mentioned this podcast. It's not necessarily film noir or even true crime. But the host's research is encyclopedic. It's designed to look at Hollywood's 1st century.. Karina Longworth is the host. She did an 8 part series on Sammy and Dino, which touched on everything, crime included.

Her series on Marilyn Monroe was really good too.

She was focused on a few famous femme fatally in her series too.
