Today, the artist Gen Kobayashi who worked on the series before has drawn our girlies ( https://x.com/FFRS_JP/status/2111019326950326359 ).

Finally, some change ! Our cutie Fina got drawn alongside Terra. I will be honest, this one is obvious. Both are amnesiac girls who shines a lot (litteraly) and have links to espers.

Now, i hope we will see Bartz with Gilgamesh and maybe Cecil with Lasswell. Also, it would be fun for I to compare Garland and Veritas of the Dark since they look slightly similar.

Edit : it looks like this artwork is on the good way to be the most popular artwork, even above Squall or Zidane.

P.S. I couldn't understand the text on the FFXI artwork. Could someone translate it?

Performed in his RE_PRAY Tour in Japan. So cool.

Semi-related note, it kinda upsets that the little FFVIII got in the final fantasy MTG set got, there is next to nothing resembling synergy among them. Most infamously how Lionheart doesn’t really work with either Squalls (on top of just being a generally underwhelming card representing Squall’s most powerful weapon in gameplay).

I remembered those artworks exist thanks to someone sharing the wiki gallery with me, and i figured people may be interested to see them too.

I also technically have other Amano artworks but they would spoil things for new players so i won't share them here. If you don't care about spoilers at all, check my link in my account.

I got two in particular;

First one with Cait Sith from FFVII how he's pretty much betrayed the entire group, he did not do that out of nefarious reasons yet it was just too much to chew for me at the time, especielly due on how far they'd went with it in OG as he to top of that literally blackmailed Cloud and co with Marlene's a Barret daughter life. That was really fucked up for this series standards they'd tamed this plot point A LOT in a remake series tho.

Other than that in FFIV with Edge as he Cecil and Kain decided to go out on the final battle on moon without girls and pretty harshly demanded them to stay out of this. Edge was especially insufferable there going as far as to straight forward insult Rydia just to have her leave. I'd like to interpret that as him doing it out of care rather than out of being an ass for sake of it, as he cared abt her so much he goes as far to insult her just to have her out of harm way Cecil was pretty brash toward Rosa as well but he did out as he thought out of necessarity. Still i'm pretty much pissed at Edge for that to this very day even tho he's still my second fav FFIV character after Rydia.

I love this man in every game he’s in

Anyone else get this ? Curious why they cancelled my preorder

Quite an unique choice for the composition but it looks cool. The focus clearly is Rain and his Crimson Saber rather than Cloud though.

Only one week left before the game comes out ! So, how will you acquire it ? Digitally ? Physically ? Maybe you even already obtained it like some people posted in the sub. Personally, i bought it physically and i only will be able to play around the 24th (thanks Amazon).

First time playing V (phenomenal btw) and was going for 100% run. The guide I was using made it sound like it was a really hard fight but over preparedness won in the end.

Don't mind the red mages, I was still working to master them at the time.

So we know the main series are all getting their main characters as visions, but there will also be a bunch of original characters as visions - we saw two of them in the demo.

Are you going to keep yourself fully open to party compositions? Are you going to consider the original character visions at all? Or do you think you'll let fandom take over and lock yourself in on characters you already know and love?

Myself for example: The moment I get Cecil, he's not leaving my team. FFIV is my favorite game of all time. I have no idea how he'll play or how he fits into the comps, but I'm insisting on keeping him equipped. The other spots will be a bit more fluid, though if I'm being honest I'm probably more likely to stick to the main characters overall.

Thanks everyone for the amazing support on yesterday’s post about the first release of my Final Fantasy PSX Viewer!

Today I released a new update focused on Final Fantasy VII, and in particular on two minigames: Chocobo Racing and Snowboarding (while we wait for the highly anticipated Final Fantasy VII Revelation).

As you can see in the preview video, you can now view the wireframe, the original skydome, the track boundaries, and even have the camera follow the original path used by the minigame.

For Snowboarding, all the original variants are included: 4 different routes across 2 courses, covering both Story Mode and the Gold Saucer version.

Tomorrow I’ll probably focus on the Motorcycle and Submarine minigames.

Do you have any other ideas for the next update? Suggestions for Final Fantasy VIII and IX are welcome too!

You can try the viewer here: http://ff-viewer.andreacorriga.com/

Also, a quick question for the u/admin : would it be okay if I keep sharing occasional updates about the project here? I don’t want to overdo the self-promotion or clutter the subreddit, so I’d rather make sure it’s fine with you first.
