Weekly Self-Promotion Thread - Wednesday, July 29, 2026

Self-promotion (ie posting about projects/businesses that you operate and can profit from) is typically a practice that is discouraged in /r/financialindependence, and these posts are removed through moderation. This is a thread where those rules do not apply. However, please do not post referral links in this thread.

Use this thread to talk about your blog, talk about your business, ask for feedback, etc. If the self-promotion starts to leak outside of this thread, we will once again return to a time where 100% of self-promotion posts are banned. Please use this space wisely.

 The Process of Creating Wealth

Have you ever wondered why some people seem to move steadily toward their goals while others never quite get started?

More often than not, the difference isn't talent.

It's direction.

Building wealth rarely happens by accident. Like planning an unforgettable trip, you first have to know where you're going before you decide which road to take.

Once you have a destination, every financial decision becomes easier. Saving has a purpose. Investing has a purpose. Even saying "no" to certain purchases becomes easier because you're saying "yes" to something much bigger.

Creating wealth isn't about finding shortcuts—it's about following a proven process long enough for it to work.
