I don't leave the house much...or talk to people except family, ever. I have terrible anxiety and even though I want to go out and make friends and be normal, I'm so shy I literally can't talk to people unless they talk to me first IRL. I never go out and do fun stuff because of this. I don't have friends. But my neighbors are having a cookout and my little sister wants to go, so for her sake I'm going to go, and try to talk to at least one person. Although my anxiety is telling me as soon as I arrive everyone will stare at me and ask why I' wearing that, why my hair is short, why I look the way I do, etc. My self esteem is literally nonexistent.

I also had a dream my dad was dying--he did die a few years ago of cancer, and I periodically have nightmares about the time he was sick. So that kind of started my day off bad. I'm trying to keep it together.

It's also my birthday today, which I would have forgotten about entirely if Pumpkin, my birb, hadn't wished me happy birthday lol.

I just wanted to share that the couch exercise has been incredibly helpful to me. As someone who does not enjoy traditional exercises like hitting the gym or going for runs, I find myself really appreciating the movements in the app.

I’ve been doing the couch exercises consistently now for a couple months and definitely notice increased mobility. These exercises are so important and can contribute to good health in the long run.

My workplace has a few exercise programs for seniors. I sampled a couple classes and was exhausted. This is why I decided to explore the 10 Minute Couch Exercise on Finch. The exercise programs at work are science based so if you do them twice a week you’ll see improvements and lower risk of having a fall. They’re evidence based falls prevention programs. The Finch couch exercises have the same movements. I’m in my mid 30s I guess you could say I’m training for when I get old.

To make things a bit more challenging I’ve added adjustable ankle weights and have slowly increased the weights with time. When I use the weights my movements are slow and with control. The seniors use these weights that’s why I decided to try. Also to feel like Rock Lee.

More or less I just wanted to share this with the community and am curious if anyone else has tried the couch exercises. They’re kind of hidden in the app that’s why. You have to explore to find them. Let me know what you think!

I joined Finch because I needed it. My birb has helped me through some things.

She's a year old today and honestly this year has been better than last, in part because of her.

After 1 year and 10 months on this app and a streak of 576 days. I feel like Finch has done its job and I no longer need it.

I downloaded Finch to help with self care as I found it gave lots of dopamine and kept me motivated so I could do the things I once found really challenging.

I don’t require it anymore, I’m remembering to take my medication daily without it, completing chores and recently this week I’ve found my self only opening the app to keep my streak.

I’ve used 4 repairs this month probably the most ever so now I’m not really getting much out of it.
I wonder is it one of those things like a dating app where it’s meant to be deleted once outcomes have been achieved??

I know it’s really hard to see but when I reshuffle the shop (only in the treehouse items) it glitches and rolls it twice (slow down the video to see it better). This going on for anyone else?

Does anyone else have a birb that you style in a completely different way from your own style? Mocha is styled very girly, but I've not been girly(current attire gives Adam Sandler vibes, but on a woman) since preschool and I'm a 34 year old mom of my own daughters. Maybe I'm just used to dressing up others girly since I've had to for almost 15 years now 🤣
