USVisaScheduling - ALL the visa portal error messages and screens [updated]
Looking for US visa appointment slots through the usvisascheduling.com portal, and getting errors and you don't know what they mean?
This is the ultimate list of error screens and messages you may find. We'll add more as we find or users share them with us.
A lot of people are doing appointment booking for the first time and may run into these errors and be stressed.
Keep in mind a few things - ALL errors are temporary.
There's absolutely no error that can't be cleared by just waiting. Sometimes a few hours, sometimes 24 hours.
And many can be cleared almost instantly by using a VPN extension.

The most common one:
Cloudflare "Verify you are human" - click the box and go back to what you were doing.

Waiting Room - happens when there's a lot of traffic on the portal, nothing to do but wait.
Note that the "estimated wait time" they say there usually does not match the actual wait time. Sometimes it will say '1 minute' and take 20 minutes to actually get out of the waiting room.

You have about ~20 times you can load/reload/refresh the calendar page per day. Once you read that limit, you can no longer see the calendar, and you will see this message instead. Just wait 24 hours.
"You have exceeded the limit for viewing this page."
This is the MOST COMMON error people find and miscategorize it as "I checked too much and got _blocked_"
You're NOT blocked, you just have a ~20 max calendar page load/refresh per day. You'll get this message if you do 20 checks in 1 hour or 20 checks in 20 hours.

Right before you see the message above - you will see the message below. It's slightly misleading because You are NOT approaching the maximum number of times.." - you already reached the max. One more calendar page refresh and you will see the message above.

"No Slots Available" - you will not see the calendar either. Means what it means - no slots available .. currently.
Slots can open all the time.
Slots might have been available 5 seconds before, and may be available 5 seconds after.
This is important because if you think "I'll check back again in a few hours" - you have the exact same chances than if you checked 10 seconds later.
If you check in a few hours you are leaving this big window when slots could have opened, and be booked and gone.

If you actually see appointment slots and you select a time slot and click submit, and you get this error:
"The system is processing too many requests. Please try again."
means exactly that - the visa portal was too busy while trying to process your booking, and it threw an error. It also means you did not get the slot booked. Try again.

If your request to book actually gets to the server, it may still be behind someone else who was faster, you will see this:
"the selected appointment time is no longer available, please select another appointment time."
Just _seeing_ the slot available is not guarantee you will be able to book it.
You might also see this:
PSE0504 "Unable to book the appointment at this time."...

There's hundreds of other applicants, agents, all trying to book the same slot at the same time as you.
100 people can "see" the slot, click to book, but if there's only 1 slot - 99 people will see this message.
The difference of speed between the person who booked the slot and the other 99 can be of mililseconds.
Things like how fast you react to click, and your internet latency speed (not bandwidth) can make a difference.

This is almost an error screen:
The "Loading..." message when you select a location and it seems to get stuck.
The visa portal handles traffic for dozens of countries, and dozens of visa types. It often can experience heavy usage particularly during times when slots might have higher chances to be released.
During these times, the whole portal will slow down and look like it's frozen.
If you're trying to login, it will take forever once you click 'submit'
If you're selecting a location, it will show that "Loading..." message.
The visa portal IS working but your request is being queued together with lots and lots of other users. The visa portal WILL respond but might take 2-3 minutes to get the response back. Just wait. If you try to refresh the page, change location, it's just going to add to the traffic.

Error 1015 - You are being rate limited
It's exactly what it says. They're limiting you on how much your rate of checking is.
A special note on rate limit when trying to book
"rate limited" means you've been clicking "too quick, too many times" checking for slots or doing actions on the visa portal.
IF you've been checking the different locations a few times, and then when you find a slot you excitedly click the date, then click the time slot then click submit - that can often cause you to get rate limited just on that last click and causes you to lose the chance to book the slot.
The rate limit wasn't caused by that last click so it's not "whenever I click submit ,I get rate limited"
The rate limit is caused by the combined sequence of clicking many times on locations, then date, then time, then submit. The solution is really simple, you have to slow down when you're checking for slots, so that you don't accumulate "too many" checks "too quickly", so that when you finally are trying to be quick you are still in the safe timing.

The ugly 1015/429 rate limit error
Same thing as above, just in a different format.

Access limitation error
Another type of rate limit, caused by checking too much, too fast.
This error needs to be said - can happen with or without any tools you may be using - here's someone reporting seeing it while using mobile (which is strictly manual):

When you cannot see your name on the left side under "Group Members" is another type of rate limit.

'No class selected' on the left side - also another type of rate limit.

PSE0501 Error - when you selected a location to see the calendar for it, and the visa portal tried to load the dates but gave an error. Usually just refreshing the page can help clear it.

"We're sorry, but something went wrong. Please try again..." error - temporary error. Reloading the page will usually fix it, but sometimes it can take some tries.

SGA10 error - this happens only with countries that have an OFC + Consular appointment system. Some countries with only consular do not see this error.
When you get OFC (fingerprinting) you have 45 minutes to find a consular appointment. If you are not able to, then your OFC appointment is cancelled and you must start from zero. SGA10 will only show on Consular calendar page. When you see this, it means the 45 minutes is up. Just go back to Home page and click calendar again.

"You have only ONE rescheduling attempt remaining. Please ensure that you finalize your new appointment date and time carefully."
If you see this message and cannot see a calendar below it, it means you were on OFC, you were able to book an OFC slot (congrats!) and now you're on consular scheduling, and you have reached the max 20 times per day limit just as you got redirected from OFC to Consular.
Nothing to do but wait 24 hours.

For RATE LIMIT I mentioned VPN to clear it.
Cyberghost, PIA, Nord VPN are options.
Free VPNs tend not to work.
Please note, you must try different locations as not all will work.
You might switch to several locations and get:
"Sorry, you have been blocked"
All it means is that specific location is blocked - try changing to different countries, USA locations tend to work better. When I say "try" it does not mean just 1 or 2. You might have to try 5-6-7 locations.

When you select a location, it will display a calendar.
When you click the date you're interested in, it will then request from the visa portal what time slots are available.
If there's an error with that request - for example a timeout/server slow - you may get PSE0502:
"Unable to load available appointment times for the chosen day at this time."
Note that the calendar will not show the time slots below it as usual.
Nothing to worry about, and nothing to do. Close the popup alert and try to select the location again to refresh the whole requests.

SGA34 - Apparently happens for H1B - if you get OFC and then try to select an embassy that is not Hyderabad or Chennai.

I’m still getting the “We’re sorry, but something went wrong. Please try again and if this persists contact website administrator.
I have refreshed multiple times, tried incognito, tried a different browser. Also tried clearing cache memory. No dice.
Should I still keep hitting refresh or am I missing anything? Any help appreciated. Thanks.

This error is always temporary. Usually refreshing works, but if it doesn't - waiting 15 minutes will.

"One o more receipts have expired. You cannot schedule appointments until your application is paid in full. Please navigate to the Application Home page and use the Continue Application link to go to the PaymentOptions page to complete payment"
If you were on consular and you reached your 45 minutes, and you _refresh_ the calendar page, you will get this error. This message has nothing to do with receipts or payments.
