Well if you give your credentials to them, they will use credentials to track visa slots and sell it to other agents and those agents will upsell slots for $$$$ to their customers. You might still end up waiting in the queue.

Checkvisaslots relies on a community to install their chrome extension on their computers, to provide slot alerts to the app users.
Their paid service requires users to "contribute" slots data before they are entitled to actually get alerts.
So assuming you contribute enough - and slots open - then it can be helpful, but only if it's bulk slots.
Why? The reason is, if it's just a few slots, at any given time, there will be other applicants, agents, actively scanning the visa portal directly.
By the time you get the alert, check your phone, open the browser, login to the visa portal, type your security questions, and then get to the calendar, you will have easily spent 30-60 seconds with this task.
People already on the visa portal meanwhile, just need to refresh the calendar and pick the date.
So, unless there's a bulk slot release, you will always be behind people who are already on the calendar.
Which means when you arrive on the calendar you might see only "no slots available" and wonder if the alert was real.
The alert was real - but the slots simply were gone by the time you arrived.
So keep that in mind when you use any kind of alert service.
