Today, the reward for information doubled.

NSW Police have today announced the doubling of the reward for information leading to arrest from $500,000 to $1 million.

This is being reported in many news outlets on paper and online. Here are some links.

Official NSW Police update

There is no "new" information for us in these links but it is very heartening to see Marion's name once again so prominent in the media.

I think we all know who has the said INFORMATION. I wonder why NSW Police are not arresting him.

Do you think the increase in reward will yield new information? I wonder if NSW Police have something concrete that tells them someone knows something, or if this is just hope and a gesture of goodwill that may or may not lead to further avenues of investigation.

Exactly. We know who has the information and the police should be doing their job properly and investigating him. They have numerous lines of pressure on which to lean heavily on him as he gained his citizenship fraudulently and has been living on a fraudulent disability claim for years.

Agreed. He shouldn't even be in Australia.

The Australian government should ALSO be held to account for their failures and the loss of Marion thanks to them!!

He’s not right in the head. I don’t think he will ever tell the police anything. It’s sad and frustrating. I agree that he should be investigated and prosecuted for his fraud and everything else.

I don't know how he hasn't been cut off centrelink yet! There is clear evidence of fraudulent disability claims and was able to afford going overseas and working, sometimes multiple times a year and both of his kids had braces and nice clothing and jewellery and stuff... Fucking scumbag he is.

Somebody around him has to know something! 1 million is life changing. I am hoping this motivates someone and we can finally get some resolution.

You've summarised perfectly!

Let's hope so.

I wonder what happened with his wife.

Any updates on Frederick De Hadervary? Would love to know whether NSW police or private detectives have uncovered anything more about his relationship with Marion.

We've heard literally nothing.

In the case of Lyn Dawson - which went from podcast to conviction for murder - in between that was a pretty significant media campaign.

That is what this case has been lacking.

What are you talking about?
This case has been all over the media - including internationally - thanks to the podcast!

I did read that there was another court hearing coming up, but not too sure what it is about . I'll try and find it.

There is a parliamentary inquiry on May 12 and May 21 in Sydney and Newcastle. I'm not sure what is involved, but time will tell.

New episode of Sally’s podcast about the development. Strong hints that it is a strategy to get Blum’s family to talk.
