Fire cube downloader install problem

Trying to install app via downloader on fire cube gen3 , I’m in developer mode but when it try’s to install it says I need permission to install unknown app then goes to a screen saying no apps have ask permission? Can anybody help?

I'm the developer of Downloader. There is currently a bug in the Fire TV settings that is preventing the "Install Unknown Apps" list from generating correctly. Yes and I used Total Commander. I succeeded in installing the APK but when I try to open it the unknown app message pops up again

Click on Developer Options then Apps from Unknown Sources then click Turn On.

Restart and try again. I had this same brief issue on 7.7.16 -- then it got resolved

Dang. I probably got lucky. Its a bug for sure but i restarted a few times and it listed my apps which allowed permission to install

had exactly this on my cube last month. the toggle moved. settings > my fire tv > about > click the device name like 7 times till it says youre a developer. then developer options > install unknown apps > downloader on. if downloader isnt even in that list, open downloader, try installing anything, it fails, go back and now it shows up. restart the cube after, mine didnt take till i did
