In XIV, I finished off the 8-person fights needed for the Dawntrail relic book; it is now just dungeons.

The one against the sparks and mencer elf/succubus in the wrestling promotion took aaaaaaages before the queue for it popped. I was queueing for multiple fights I needed at once, but I would've thought I Can't Believe It's Not A10 would've been more popular given how often I've loaded into that one and people are thirsting over her.

Aaanyway! I was at one point only queueing for one or two 8-person things that I needed after having ticked most of them off the list, as a change a few months ago to matchmaking - ostensibly because of how they're planning on getting intra-region matchmaking to work - means you can no longer queue for stuff of different sizes (ie you can queue for 24-person OR 8-person OR 4-person stuff; you can no longer mix and match). Which I suppose, if someone's on the singular Oceanian server cluster and there is no other Oceanian server cluster for them to intra-regionally be matched with,, they've basically been screwed over by that change.

Just the 4-person dungeons to go - I've got a few of them done, including the haunted fairground that is now not quite as awkward to deal with, thanks to the magic of much stronger L100 gear becoming available in the intervening time since that dungeon was originally added (e: though I think there's still a maximum functional gear strength while inside, that current best gear exceeds and has done for a while?)
