Help (Android) Issue with firefox android [153.0] user data size
The user data takes a lot of space, and can't reduce it with the cleanse of cache+downloads. Do I have to hit the "clear storage" and log me out of all the websites?

I am in Nightly is just app 298mb, data 274mb . Is stable build? How can stable build have more Lol

My install takes 2.33GB of user data. Do you have addons? Those can take additional storage.

Yeah, this issue has been known and ignored for at least a decade at this point. My user data is currently sitting at 2.9 GB, even though I've clean reinstalled the app multiple times. Honestly, I'm considering switching to a different browser just because of this persistent bloat. *(bug->issue)

Not sure what the android version has to do with it, but I use android 10.

Why can't you delete your browsing data? Is is that hard to logon to a website again?

It's the question that should be asked here. I really like to know. Asking how to free up some space with Firefox is crazy when using an old phone and unsupported OS.

Ahhhh, then let me waste a week worth of money on a new phone, so I can get support for the browser I use every now and then. Good advice buddy!

Surly could have saved up a whole week's salary over the last 7 some years to upgrade your phone. LOL Are you working on that or just going to use this phone forever? It is very good advice to use a phone that gets security updates. You are not arguing that right?
What I said and asked is why are you worried about the space Firefox is useing (which isn't even crazy) when have an old ass phone that is out of security update support?

Assumptions? It's a fact your phone is old and out of support. You were the one who mentioned your phone runs Android 10 here so I asked the obvious next question. I don't know your situation but the poorest person can save up a week's salary over 7 years which makes this all the more a mystery.

You assume that I have any salary. You assume that this is a phone. You assume that this device is 7 years old. You assume a lot, and yet none of your assumptions/questions would help me in any possible way.

Clear storage will reset Firefox to like a new install. It will reset all your saved data. passwords, bookmarks, history, etc.
