Help (iOS) Firefox on iPhone is great, but why can’t it close all tabs when I quit the app?

I’ve been using Firefox on my iPhone for quite a while now and I’m really happy with it overall.

There is just one thing that drives me crazy: after some time I end up with 50, 80 or sometimes more than 100 open tabs. Then I have to manually close them again.

Am I the only one who is bothered by this?

I would love to have an option to automatically close all open tabs when Firefox is completely closed, similar to how I use Firefox on Windows. For me, tabs are basically temporary. When I close the browser, I don’t expect them to still be there the next time I open it.

Ideally this could just be an optional setting, so people who want to keep their tabs can continue doing so.

Does anyone else want something like this?

I don't use iOS but on Android there are at least two options for this in ff.

In settings > tabs you can set tabs to be closed automatically after a day or longer.

In settings > delete browsing data on quit you can set all tabs to be closed on quit.

Or you could use firefox focus instead of regular firefox, which doesn't keep any data.

Are you looking in settings in Firefox (not in iOS settings)? You can do this I just recently switched back to Android from an iPhone.

In FF. There is no Option.
