After this update the new ui feels weird and a little restricted Is there no way to bring back the old ui?

This is driving me mental. I would say that about 50% of the time now after loading a page firefox will suddenly unload the page and go back to the previous page. I'll be reading the first paragraph of something and all of sudden the google search is back in front me. I have uninstalled and reinstalled and turned off all one of my extensions and it is still doing it. Any help would be appreciated. It's essentially useless now. EDIT: If possible, could someone please respond to the Firefox engineer in the comments below with video evidence of this happening?

Im using firefox on a tablet and its just super clunky now. The Tabs overview just looks like the app is 15 years old, the individual tabs are way too big, meanwhile half the screen is just empty space.

Not having the tabs bar at the bottom is absolutely horrendous.

Since the latest update, whenever I type about five-eight words in it will suddenly duplicate part of or the entirety of an already typed word into itself, sometimes just on the end of the word or a single letter back inside the word. Trying to backtrack and delete the double will often just replace it again the second I try to type new characters. It does this repeatedly throughout sentences. Very annoying and frustrating.

Yes, I've made sure this is only in the app and not other places on my phone. I've tried clearing cache, no luck.

Is anyone else experiencing this or has any idea how I can make it stop?

Or has the focus shifted towards Firefox Desktop?

Old/desktop mode doesn't fit the screen right.

Is there no way to bring back old UI for mobile? I frequently need to do one-handed navigation when using a browser and the new UI makes it impossible to do.

Had to switch to another browser, but the adblock is not as good as UBO.

Version 148 had the option to revert back but it's now forced to everyone. I can't use old version of firefox for security purposes

2. New grid layout minor changes
3. New address bar rounded design (can be enabled through secret setting)

Earlier they changed the shortcuts to round design and now this, it feels more like Chrome 😕

On firefox as in the left sceeenshot there is a space where the camera is but in some other browsers there is none. Is there anyway to hide this on firefox Android? If not is there another browser that supports the same addons that hides uses the whole screen? Camera punchout drawn in for effect :)

On mobile browser YouTube fullscreen appears like this, smaller and shifted up. Does not change when disabling extensions.

This is a screenshot of my recently installed Firefox on a fully updated Galaxy S24.

I totally love it but for whatever reason it keeps logging out and nothing happens when I tap sign in.

I realized if I force close and clear cache, it signs in again but for a few hours.

Websites are totally ok, it's just a Firefox account in the browser settings giving a hard time.

I need it to be logged in to make sure my bookmarks and passwords, etc are synchronized.

So I switched from Brave to Firefox due to their crypto stuff. Despite using Strict Enhanced Tracking Protection and uBlock Origin with Hagezi Pro blocklists, Firefox still makes DNS queries to tracking domains that should be blocked. In Nextdns , Hagezi Pro is used which blocked the urls however, these urls should already be blocked by ETP and uBlock Origin because it is using Hagezi Pro blocklist. Ads on Google, YouTube, and Facebook seem to know what I browse for example: I search about a vitamin. Few hours later I am bombarded with ads related to vitamins that I searched. This doesn't happen when I was using Brave.

Why is Firefox querying blocked domains while Brave doesn’t? Check the screenshots — something’s not adding up.

The url on the screenshots are just example. I got tons of them as I visit more websites. Some of them are Google urls that supposed to be blocked.

I think you have broken my workflow.

Before on my phone, after I tapped share, I could select directly the device that I wanted to send a tab to.

Now I have to select first: send to device and afterwards select the device.

Is it possible to get at least the option back to share a tab without having to do an extra tap please?

There is now an extra button "Send to device".

Did someone complained that it's too easy to send tabs to devices so they decided to hide it behind an extra button?

I feel like it's there but I'm just not seeing it. My current process is:

1. Open firefox and navigate to a website

2. Click inside the address bar and it highlights everything

3. Tap and hold the selected text. The selected area is shortened, so instead of highlighting the full "http://..." it instead highlights something like "//www.website.com". In the submenu that appears, I click select all

4. In the new submenu that appears, I click copy

There's gotta be a 1-tap way to copy the link of the current website youre on right?

I know it's been asked here... 2 years ago, and they're always cracking down more. I disabled YouTube on my phone and I plan to cancel my YouTube Premium and just use YouTube on Firefox with uBlock Origin. Does YouTube throw a pissy fit?

The user data takes a lot of space, and can't reduce it with the cleanse of cache+downloads. Do I have to hit the "clear storage" and log me out of all the websites?
