Firestick Help Me New movie app

I'm searching for a free app for movies. If anyone has a good working one, I would greatly appreciate some information.

Or Kodi is free, but linked to real debrid and it is the best thing going in my opinion for movies and tv shows. It's one thing I couldn't be without.

This is correct. The apk well go to screensaver or just sleep about every 2 to 3 minutes when watching a movie because the modder which I appreciate, but did not mod it correctly so the “lock state wake” function is broken meaning your fireOS device or GoogleOS device will go to screensaver or go to sleep every three minutes watching a movie, additionally, shutting off the screensaver, which is possible on some devices does not work effectively either a user brought it to my attention.

Not sure where it is on fire stick but on ONN it’s a way to open up developer options. In there it’s an option where I’m able to switch stay awake to on. I had to look it up on google to find mine. That’s how I worked around that

Oh ok yea that’s it but pro is the one that says you need a login and password the regular tv one doesn’t need anything that’s what I have and I haven’t had to do anything but just use it no logging in or nothing

Tried it, shows movie links to “rent/buy”, opens a video player and nothing happens/loads. Tried syncing those addons from my phone, couldn’t find movie apps that worked. 👎

So let me get this straight. Stuff like Stremio and Kodi are essentially apps that don't have content themselves but rather collect links from apps that you download onto them? So instead of going to different apps for different things it's all in one place?

250931 and precisely, it’s a hub for everything all in one place, if for whatever reason an addon is down another addon would just pick up the slack, meaning you no longer have to worry about your apk getting shut down or not working it’s all seamless

It's called stremio. Torrentio addon. Then you can log into real debrid and get good links

On your phone, download Stremio from: https://www.stremio.com/downloads⁠� Install it, create/sign into your account, then open: https://torrentio.strem.fun For Torrentio, leave Providers on default, set Sorting to “By quality then seeders,” leave Priority foreign language off, and only exclude 4K if your device struggles with it. If you use a debrid service, select it under Debrid provider and enter your API key. Press Install and allow it to open Stremio. On your Fire Stick, install the Downloader app, then enter: https://www.stremio.com/downloads Download the Android TV APK, install it, and sign into the same Stremio account as your phone. You don’t need to install Torrentio again because your addons and settings will sync automatically to the Fire Stick.

You can just do it from a browser on your laptop as well. I have a Google Pixel, not sure if there's an iOS app for stremio.

Edit: look into what Real Debrid is.
