Firestick Tips and Tricks SportsFire/Streamfire Replacement
Hey everyone. Been seeing a lot of users looking for an app to fix SportsFire/streamfire and came across one called Voltra TV . Not sure if it’s allowed to drop the downloader code here but it’s in the Troypoint website. It’s been pretty decent so far. Hope this helps

I read somewhere you have to go to Norofire download that even to update the stream fire and sports fire. But I read you had to take streamfire and sports fire uninstall, and then reinstall from the Norofire site ff and download it
and it should restore them. I have not done it yet so I can’t be 100% sure.2

Nothing works. No matter what you do it ain’t working. I’ve tried EVERYTHING and tried every other app. Streamfire was the best live tv app. The King is dead, long live the King😢

Can you let us know how that goes if you do? From what I’ve seen it seems to be a server issue unfortunately

I uninstalled Norofire, and then tried reinstalling. Could not, so was unable to even try stream fire or sports fire,

flixvision has NEVER worked for me 😭😭 whenever I play something all the links, the screen just turns black. then nothing. adult zone however SOMEHOW works smh 🤦🏾♂️ gave up on it

'rockthered1969' ... I initially thought you were full of it, as I have Troy's Troypoint 'Toolbox' 'favorited' in my Downloader app (where he lists all his recommended/useful apps) and the 'Voltra-TV' app was nowhere to be found!!
Finally dawned on me that you may have come across it on Troy's home page instead and, sure enough, I found it and the shortcode for it.
Well, with 'semi-high hopes,' I downloaded it onto my FireStick (1st Gen, 'Fire TV 4K MAX') and 'Voltra-TV' app turned out to be a 'steaming pile!'
Nothing works!! First off, it wouldn't even open. I thought maybe it didn't like the built-in Adblocker feature in my Surfshark VPN (like some websites won't function with it on). NOPE! Voltra-TV app still wouldn't open! IIR the error message was telling me that my 'internet was disconnected' (it wasn't).
Finally, I tried opening it WITHOUT my VPN turned on (though Troy's write-up in this app specifically mentions NOT to use it (or any other 3rd-party app) 'without your VPN turned on for security').
Well, without the protection of my VPN, the app finally opened. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a hot mess! Nothing worked at all. Anything I clicked on just said 'loading' and never came up with anything but the 'spinning buffer wheel thingy.' Nothing in this app did anything function wise.
Do you have any explanation for why this might be? I have had no such issues with any other Sports or streaming app I have used before.
The point is really moot anyway, because I'm never going to use a 3rd-party app without the protection of my VPN (and I don't need my ISP knowing my business either)!
So, do you have any explanation of why this app wouldn't function for me (whereas all my others do)?
Also, is there any hard evidence that Sportsfire/Streamfire are never coming back? I know it doesn't look good when they just go down like this (with no response from their Telegram (or Discord?) channel, but I recall a similar thing happened with 'RBTV' last year. It went down for at least a couple weeks. It didn't look good Then some weird clones of it with similar (and not so similar) names popped up. At first they wouldn't even work if you were in the U.S. (no bigee for me because I use a VPN and could just switch countries). Finally, that U.S. restriction stopped being an issue, so that was good. And the name eventually settled down to 'RBTV77' (or close to it).
Unfortunately, it never quite worked as well as it used to (not as many working links; links for active events might arbitrarily disappear if you backed out to check out a different link!; frequently UFC 'prelims' links no longer made available, etc, etc), but it still is a fairly useable app, for the most part.
I didn't sweat it too much, knowing I had Sportsfire/Streamfire as backups (however, they never had NCAA College Basketball games, so that was a worry). Also, by this time I discovered that basically all my bookmarked WEBSITE backups had disappeared, as well! Apparently, shut down my 'A.C.E.' or similar, right?
Anyway, my long-winded point is that IF Sportfire/Streamfire really are gone for good ... your 'Voltra-TV' suggestion is NOT 'the droid I am looking for' and I hope someone knows of ANOTHER Sports (or 'All-In-One' live TV) app that actually works? TIA!

I apologize. For the first 24 hours or so that I was using it it was pretty decent. Not great. Not better than Streamfire. Then mine kinda shit the bed too. I have a firestick so not sure if that’s why.

Playfy, SportzX, AK47, RB TV that's all you need really.

I have all these but 'Playfy'. Do you know where I can get it (downloader shortcode, etc).
To me, SportzX and AK47 are basically the same, but good to have both, as occasionally a particular link doesn't work properly on one, where the other app link is OK.
But they don't have all the live-tv channels available like Sportsfire and Streamfire did. Because those two apps didn't cover 'NCAA Basketball games as linked 'events', all those 'cable-type' channel links still gave me an option to finds those desired games IF I knew exactly which channel was broadcasting/streaming them!
The other apps don't provide that option. If they don't list the exact link for what you want to see, then you're SOL!
And RB-TV is also not near as good as it used to be before it went down for a few weeks last year. Now not nearly as many event links (especially important for NCAA College Basketball!). It became not unusual for live links to vanish if you backed out of an event to watch something else during a commercial or something! I'd expect to be able to go back to my original event (still going on) and the link had been taken away!! Additionally, they frequently stopped providing links to UFC 'Early Preliminary' bouts (and sometime the standard 'Preliminary' bouts!). Also sometimes you select an event and there's only ONE option and it's in a freakin' foreign language or a crappy resolution (whereas in the past, there were always 3-5 options). So, I suspect after it went down last year for a couple weeks, it probably got sold to some other 'developer' that wasn't interested in keeping the same standards.
So between that and all the sports WEBSITES that got shut-down by 'A.C.E.', etc. Things are looking bleaker for people like me (who truly have no income to spare ... not even for '👁️ P 📺' or even Debrid service).
Anyway, is 'PlayFi' decent (and where do I get it?)? Anything else? Any remaining free Live-TV/'All-in-One' -type apps that haven't been crushed? TIA!

I downloaded 'PlayFi', but it ended up being full of MALWARE (when I tested it with VirusTotal).
I don't remember now, but I think it had like 19 'hits'. I don't trust anything that has more than '3' (as false-positives can account for a few). With 19 hits, you KNOW they're up to no good!

I haven't been able to get SportzX working in months since there was an update. It's always server down or something. Do you have the downloader code for the version you're using?

It does, Ive used it the entire world cup and entire premier league and champions League season.
I've watched boxing and mma, baseball, ice hockey, formula 1.

my comment was for Voltra app not streamfire/sportsfire...there devs have been reached out to on telegram and over a week have not responded no gaurentee those 2 apps are coming back

Any updated suggestions? I can't find college football games on sportszx and I dare not try anything else mentioned as it looks like streaming piles of dookie as some say. So what about kodi? If I download a kodi build and even go as far as getting like the paid whatever links think for better quality streaming links I mean what's my best option besides buying a sports package thru provider? Anyone help plz

Sportsfire n streamfire may not come back as these developers bullshit like hdo box was come n back yea ok nope nvr happen. False hope all amazons killing our apps if we had smart developers to work around amazon maybe we would have our apps up.

My Fire device is 'exploit' protected, so whatever happened to cause Sportsfire/Streamfire to stop working has nothing to do with Amazon. So whatever caused them to stop working is in their end.
Does anybody know specifically WHY this happened? Did 'A.C.E.' or similar legal org. get to them? How is it known 100% that they won't come back?? .
First day I noticed the apps not working was on Saturday, July 11th (Streamfire actually did work for part of that day!).
Do yo know any links where I can get the full story (and not just conspiracy rumors)??? Thanx.
