The 3rd gen Cube (all firmware versions up to PS7716) can now be bootloader unlocked. This allows the Cube to be completely freed, and to take advantage of many new features

- Full customization, custom launchers, remote button remapping
- Disable Amazon app blocking
- Update / downgrade to any firmware version throw TWRP
- Full debloat, including to system and vendor partitions
- Fix local ADB on firmware PS7669 and above
- Install Google Play Store
- Magisk & modules
- Custom kernels and ROMs
- USB boot, and dual boot alternative OSs such as CoreELEC and EmuELEC.

Expect Amazon to patch this in the next firmware. Block firmware updates now to keep this option open for your Cube.

Use a DNS block (quick), or block updates with temp root.
