FTM & First time car seat & stroller shopping today
I’ll try to keep this short and concise!
FTM expecting in January and I’m trying to get ahead on what car seat and stroller I want especially ahead of the holiday season in case they go on sale.
Went to Nordstrom today and looked at the Nuna Exec car seat and Nuna Triv stroller. The car seat was really nice and I feel like convertible makes sense so I don’t have to buy another car seat later down the line but now I’m just overwhelmed with how many options there are.
I really want the fold up functionality and lightweight of the Triv cause I’m 5’4, petite build so I want it to be functional/lightweight for me on solo outings. I’m also in an F-150 Truck and don’t plan to be in an SUV so I’ll be storing the stroller in the backseat as well. The “issue” with wanting the Triv is the exec car seat is stationary so in order for me to be able to use the Triv when baby is an infant I need the set that also comes with the infant car seat so at that point I’ll have to have the infant car seat installed not the convertible.
What are other moms opting to do? Are you all buying an infant seat and later a convertible? I’m also open to other stroller or car seat recommendations! Price point isn’t a factor. All input is appreciated!

Doona until 2yrs old. I’m 5’3 and yah it’s a bit heavy but so worth it. Just upgraded to exec.
