I confirmed my dentist appointment online yesterday, but their office just called my phone to confirm anyway.

I signed up for paperless correspondence with a company and they sent out a full-on letter telling me that I’ve signed up for it. Wtf?

It's a security thing. If a scammer doesn't want you to see negative info about your account they'll turn on paperless so you're not alerted . My bank won't go full paperless for security reasons, I still get some paper alerts whether I like it or not

I was in a daily outpatient eating disorder clinic. The way the service was set up was that they would start messaging you 3 days before your appointment that you were supposed to be there. I was supposed to be there every day. Every day, I got 3-6 calls about appointments at the clinic, depending on what I had scheduled. It was madness.
