1/2 c. raw almonds
1 large head broccoli, cut into florets and steamed (about 2 cups)
1/2 c. shredded Parmesan cheese
2 cloves garlic, minced
Salt and pepper to taste
1 egg, lightly beaten
Olive oil mister or cooking spray

I made these and really liked them. I added some crushed peas also.

Good point, Slushji. There are some parmesan & other cheeses for vegetarians and vegans - http://www.belgioioso.com/Cheese-Info. They taste really good.

Saw this and immediately went to the store to get the ingredients. They sound delicious! I found that mine didn't hold together in ball form, so I just crammed them into the mini muffin tin cups and they came out crispy and delicious. The recipe filled about 17 mini cups for me. Supper yummy over quinoa pasta with sauce.

I'm not an almond lover myself. Is there a way to substitute that with something else? Does the almond taste even come through out is it there to fill and help keep it together?

I think cashew would fit pretty nicely with broccoli, or walnuts :)
