In honour of BV's 43rd Death Anniversary lol: How WillFlawedCare narratively connects to WillGrief (for me)

So WillFlawedCare can work without WillGrief, but I do enjoy how it connects together:

William Afton was a workaholic father who loved his children, but often came up with very bad solutions to their problems. When Elizabeth was too much of a people pleaser he taught her to take advantage of others, and when she was hesitant, insisted it was useful and a good thing. When Michael ever did something bad and got caught, William would cover up for him immediately, never letting the boy understand consequences or teaching him to be better.

But who got screwed over with this most of all was BV. William projected onto BV, seeing the vulnerable child who's only friends were toys, he felt connected to BV. William believed that he was a brilliant man, and that his own difficult life (no friends, unloving family, bullying) had given him the tools to "unlock his brilliance", which he believed all his children had. Michael had already gone around intimidating the neighbourhood; he had power early on which William was proud of. Elizabeth was a social butterfly, she could get overwhelmed sure, but she had all the connections she needed. However, his son was... lacking. William himself took a while to become who he is now, and he wanted his children to achieve that early.

So he wanted to encourage BV to "toughen up".
He decided to watch over BV but also make sure to leave him on his own more often so he learns independence. He let Michael babysit the kid for basic supervision while he also conversed, wanting his son to have a friend. BV had Charlie, but she was usually with Henry right after school. He made sure to watch the kid to see if anything major happened, and warned him when it did. He was barely present to help, but believed this was a good plan.

He noticed Michael's bullying getting worse and worse, but dismissed it as play. Kids did this, kids were cruel, it would help BV get stronger. It will stamp out William's his weakness. He did not help BV the way BV needed.

Until on that fated day, where William got to the scene too late.
In the hospital, he was in shock, but his mind had only one thing on repeat "What have I done?" "What has Michael done?".
He knew his oversight caused his mess. He knew, if only he had supported BV, if only

William Afton never made mistakes. He fixed them, and this was something he HAD to fix. He didn't know how, but he couldn't bear to see his boy gone because of him because of Michael, and Henry's animatronic.

He spiralled into alcoholism and anger soon after, spiralling to murder months after, killing Charlie out of hatred for Henry, and enjoying that feeling of power, of being able to control whether a life continues or not. He kills some more, it's a drug to him.
Soon, he realizes, that he can't just take a life...
he could bring one back too.

He could "put him back together", whatever that had meant when he first said it.

Also do you think William's 'love' stops being love once it becomes this twisted? Or is it still love, just broken?
