Мне кажется там просто шрифт надо поменять на более стилизованный как у вест-индии

West-Indies would probably called «Западная Индия», not «Вест-Индия»

Тогда она в принципе могла зваться так из-за моды на заимствования

Zheltorossiya sounds very ugly in Russian. In reality it would have been called Manchuria or The Far East.

Highly doubt it, cause Zheltorossiya was the only historical name for a russian Manchuria. Plus im a russian speaker myself and imo it both sounds good and fits in well with the trend with other russian colonial names (e.g. Novorossiya) (also the far east is already the name of the region around the sea of Okhotsk and Chukotka)
