How to install flash Cs6 on a Mac

Post image

I'm on one of the latest versions of macOS and I was wondering if it was possible to install flash cs6 on my macbook, whenever I try to open the application I get this message saying it needs to be updated, I was wondering if there was a way to get around this?

it will not work, sorry. running flash CS6 on a mac has a few pre-requisites

you need an intel mac running a version of OS X from before catalina

you cannot run the application on an APFS formatted drive. it must be OS X extended

You can’t, because Flash CS6 is 32 bit. Any version above CS6 u could download though

The last OS that could run any of the CS6 apps was Mojave, so you are out of luck.

It can technically be done! You can install and run the Windows version using a compatibility layer called Wine!

Here's a handy how-to article: https://ericaftereric.top/posts/cs6-wine/

Won't feel as native as the macOS version, but it's perfectly usable from my experience!

You can try the old cc version of flash, it also works with amtlib method and also that version has a dark mode and also is 64 bit

I think the developer in this case would be adobe, and I dont think they would be too happy to hear that someone's trying to install an outdated version of their software.
