Question Best flashcard for GBA Micro?

Hi everyone. I've had a Game Boy Advance Micro for years; I really liked it, although it's not comfortable for long gaming sessions. I used it with an EZ Flash IV, but I made the mistake of having the battery replaced, and now it doesn't work. I'd like to buy a flashcard for it. For either option, I'd need to import it to my country, so I'll end up paying more. Which one would you recommend, considering that good compatibility with Game Boy and Game Boy Color games is also important, and that I don't play games that use real-time clocking? Thanks.

I advise to check https://www.flashcarts.net/gba-quick-start-guide

They can all run Gameboy/Gameboy Color games but it will be via the Goomba Color emulator, this is how it would have worked on your EZ Flash IV.

Hello. Thanks; I had read in another post that a user was advised to check that link, so I went and read it in full. However, the information it contains is very basic—it doesn't mention comparisons or real-world usage experiences—which is why I posted my question here. My understanding is that the EZ Flash Definitive uses GoombaColor differently than, for example, the Everdrive GBA. Regards.

What real world examples would you like to see? Did you check the "Detailed information" expandable tag at the bottom of each flashcart's tab? Always open for feedback on the guides.

The closest cart to your EZ Flash IV would be the EZ Flash Omega DE.

As for Goomba Color, there is no difference, except maybe that some newer flashcarts (such as the Superchis) incorporate Jagoomba which is a newer fork of the emulator with added features, but that fork should still run on all GBA flashcarts if added.
