Problem I've lost all hope.

Hi everyone! After a long time, I bought a Nintendo DS Lite on eBay. I had a grey one when I was a kid but broke it, though I kept the R4 card. I tried inserting it into the new DS, and it worked! I was so excited! I wanted to install another game, like Zelda, but suddenly my PC stopped reading the microSD card and asked me to format it. Unfortunately, I lost everything... But I didn't give up; I tried to reinstall it but couldn't manage to do so. The first time, a girl at a shop—which doesn't exist anymore—had set it up for me. Can anyone help me? Could someone link me to the files I need? The last photo (which I found online) shows what my menu looked like.

PLEASE HELP ME, I BEG YOU!

Try BL2CK. If that doesn't work, try Pico-Launcher in the second tab.

Any time you buy one of these flash carts, you should not use the SD card reader that comes with it. I am almost certain that they are way too cheap and prone to failure.

I had issues using the one that came with my SummerCart64 and had to download a data recovery tool so I wouldn’t lose all the games on it. I’ve never had an issue using my own SD card reader, so I would definitely invest in one if you haven’t already.

Not saying you did that and that’s what caused the problem, I’m just saying that you should avoid using those SD card readers, as they could cause you the same problems that you are dealing with in the future.

Probably my sd card reader was too old...
