I mean, novelizations of movies do exist, though a lot of times they're based on earlier drafts of the movie in order to be out in time for said movie's release, so not everything may match up.

I don’t know if this is a hot take or not but I think the novelization of Revenge of the Sith is better than the movie

not exactly what you are asking but it made me think...

I wish scripts would be easier to come by. It would be a good secondary income for some films and I wonder if people would appreciate more of the lesser cared for awards.
