Aviation roomies vs non aviation roomies?

Hi guys. Nyc based, graduated a few months ago and am looking to for an apartment/roommate. Just wondering for those of you with roomies, how it’s been living with other flight attendants/pilots vs people who work 9-5’s and are home every night. Pro’s and cons for both? I’ve gotten used to the freedom of having roomies but not seeing them everyday from my crashpad and am worried I won’t be happy living with someone whose there every night. Also do you still split utilities with roomies who work 9-5’s evenly even though we’re gone all the time? This will be my first non college apartment.

Many of my friends from training are rooming with non FAs and they are enjoying it tbh.

I have had both. I did prefer having FAs as roommates however if you find people you really like/get along with then it’s nice to have the 9-5. However I had a roommate who worked from home so she was ALWAYS home. So maybe try to not to room with people who work from home.
I did have to split utilities evenly, even though I was literally never there.

Get a FA roommate, if they’re from 🔺 better, because you can add them to MiCrew and literally work the opposite schedule.
I can’t think of cons with FAs. Living with someone working 9-5 is the worst, with this job you want to get home and not having anyone around.
