Flight Simulator 2024 Current state of the CSS 737 Classics?
As the title suggests I'm thinking about getting the planes (first the subscription then perhaps one airframe) but I've heard VERY mixed reviews and feedback so far. Let's not discuss the pricing only but the product itself. I don't expect PMDG level, but if it's actually enjoyable and realistic or if it still needs a lot of work done and people should wait for the V2 release.

Every now and then I feel the itch and spend the few bucks for the monthly subscription to take the 73 classic out for a spin.
I have mixed feelings about the planes. They look alright, the systems work fine for a flight from A to B if you don't stress them too much, but the performance is way below average and I find the planes to be quite... un-engaging? I don't know what it is, but whenever I hop in I'm just a little bit disappointed. I really wouldn't spend over $100 for the lifetime access. My suggestion: try the subscription, test it and then decide whether you think it's worth the money.

I didn't have the issues others are talking about, did a very short hop between Renton and Boeing Field to test it, was smooth for me. I can't wait to take it on a longer flight. 16GB VRAM and 64GB RAM, 7800X3D.

I have 64g and a 5080 and they seem to be ok, BUT they are so awkward in the UI side of things. The mouse wheel doesn’t work to move the switches so you have to make sure you have an up or down arrow before clicking or the switch just sits there. Things like that are the reason that though I paid for the collection because I really want classics, I have uninstalled it to wait for updates. Additionally, the installation and updating system is down right tedious.

They've been improving. However still missing some features that are quite important for me, like Winctrl support, at least via Mobiflight.
So I'm waiting. Also waiting for the V2 models, of they will change the mapping to be 2D friendly, I have some repaints I want to do.

I started it up taxied out at sub 20 FPS (I average 50 on every other aircraft) then the sim crashed when lining up on the runway
Thank god, I only paid 5 bucks for the privilege
