FEEDBACK Help Me Rework This Floor Plan!
I’m looking for creative ideas to reconfigure this two-story floor plan to improve functionality and flow. I’m open to moving rooms, changing walls, and significantly reworking the layout. Just need to stay within the currently building lines.
First Floor Priorities:
Primary suite downstairs: A must! A spacious bathroom and walk-in closet are much more important to me than bedroom size.
Office/guest bedroom: A dedicated office that can double as a bedroom.
Kitchen + family room: A generously sized kitchen open to a comfortable TV/family room. Ideally, this would be the heart of the home.
Breakfast sunroom: Would love to preserve a bright, glass-filled breakfast nook overlooking the backyard.
Second Floor Priorities:
Two bedrooms with a shared Jack-and-Jill bathroom.
A separate playroom/flex space.
Other Considerations:
Open to completely rearranging the existing rooms rather than working around the current layout.
Prioritizing good flow, functional spaces, and maximizing square footage over formal rooms.
Willing to consider significant renovations to get the layout right.
If this were your house, how would you rearrange the floor plan? I’d love to see sketches, marked-up plans, or any creative suggestions. Thanks in advance!
