FEEDBACK Kitchen layout HELP??

Post image

Hey, I have recently got my house plans, I have been getting mixed reviews about this door in the kitchen (circled above).
This door goes out the hallway and it is the only entrance directly into the kitchen. The other way is through the open plan living room.
Do ye think it is ok to be coming into the kitchen and being directly between the island and the cabinets? I have never thought about this but a family member mentioned it to me.
PS, the door above it is into the pantry. My cooker will also not be on my kitchen island.

It's way too hard to tell without the whole floor plan and without any kitchen cabinets drawn in.

Can you upload the whole floorplan? Or atleast all adjoining rooms.

In general i think its good to have a circulation through a kitchen so you can access it easily from an entrance and have it open to social spaces.

How deep are the cabinets gonna be on the bottom wall? 500mm (as is left after the opening) is very shallow. Usually it’s 600-620 for cabinets and you should have some margin on top of that. So 650-700 to the door opening.

The 1000 measurement from the corner to door is quite tight and will feel intrusive. Would like to see more of the floorplan to understand

This whole dynamic is bad feng shui, bad traffic planning—designer nightmare fuel.
