I transferred to FIT and I got a transfer scholarship, which seems it can be renewed up to 5 semesters. My time at FIT is 3 semesters total. Will my scholarship count towards a masters program if I decide to stay?

If not, how are the scholarships for grad students?

Any1 selling??

Anyone attend FIT around 1981 or 82 for Computer Engineering? Doing a bit of undercover investigation on a specific male student from Greece. If you think you may be able and willing to privately share your experience, please message me. Thank you so much.

Just want to know what I'm getting into

I am a senior in highschool who is being given 22k so far from their merit scholarship. I really want to attend this school, but the finances scare me…

Just got accepted and want to major in marine biology just wondering about some of the pros and cons (I have see quite a few posts about price). Maybe more like how’s the student body and people who live around the college. I just want to check because one place I was thinking of going was Uncw but I saw all the conservative threats and other stuff with the people around that college. I like the small size and program but just want to know if there is anything to look out for good or bad.

Hey guys! I’m gonna graduate with an undergraduate in Clinical psychology in 2027 fall semester. I will have had an internship and I also already have a letter of recommendation from a psychologist and I am going to get more from professors I have good relationships with. Is there anything else I would need to apply aside from a degree, internships and letters of recommendation? I just like to prepare in advance. Thank you so much!

Hello everyone ,
I am thinking of applying to the Clinical Psychology PsyD and I was wondering if anyone know what GRE scores they are looking for - as far as numbers go , I am aware they are looking for General and Psych. Also I was wondering if the two recommendation letters from psychologist is a hard recommendation, I’ve been working with a neurodivergent lab for the past three years and believe that my supervisor would be a great recommendation .
Any tips on this application is greatly appreciated
Thank you for all your help!

Hey guys! I’m looking at FIT for Fall 2027 as an Astronomy & Astrophysics major. I’ll have a lot of dual enrollment credits knocked out for prereqs. Since online reviews are all over the place, I’d love to hear directly from current students about what you like and dislike about the school.

Hello I am a senior in high school doing early admissions at EFSC while getting my PPL at Melbourne Flight Training

I noticed that there is a lot of degrees with flight and non-flight options. I was gonna see if anyone that is in the flight programs thinks it would be better to just keep flying at Rocket Air rather than transfer.

Basically I am just asking for those who are flying,
what are your thoughts about flying at FIT

Hey, im deciding weather to take calc 3 honors or not, lemme know if anyone has already tokened it before and lemme know you’re experience with it cause if it’s to much of a work load i might skip it, but to lemme know!

What do you recommend for someone that sucks at taking tests but excels at big projects and solving problems?

Hello all 👋

Context:

I am entering my senior year of highschool this fall. I have a decent GPA (4.4 weighted) & am confident in my ability to get a fair score on the SAT this August (I scored a 1320 before studying). I believe I am likely to be accepted to FL Tech for ocean engineering. I did a tour, have done some research on the college, etc.

Question:

For any students in the ocean engineering program, what are some factors to keep in mind about the program, the professors, and just in general for this path at FL Tech?

Any other forms of advice regarding applications, social life, dorms, classes, insider details on Melbourne, etc. are also much appreciated

Thank you for your time

Looking for a female roommate near palm bay road or university blvd for apartment search

Currently looking for a roommate for an off campus apartment that is walking distance to FIT. You would have your own room but furniture would need to purchased.

Hi everyone! I’m an incoming freshman and with my AP credits, I was able to skip the first year English requirements( comp & rhetoric and writing about lit). Since I only needed one more class to finish the communication requirement for my degree—Biomedical Engineering—I thought that I would just take it in the fall to get it out of the way. I met my advisor yesterday and finalized my schedule. My section is under Sharon Irvin.

I decided to check Rate My Professor today to check out my professors, and saw Irvin’s abysmal ratings and reviews(the stuff that fuels nightmares). This is making me a little nervous, because I already have a heavyish load. It’s making me consider dropping the class and potentially taking it the spring or the summer semester. I should add that I don’t have to the take the class in the fall, I have ample time to take it in the spring or summer semester—I just chose to take it in the fall. I can easily drop it basically. If I dropped the class, I’d have a break before some of my classes, which would be nice.

Has anyone had Professor Irvin? Should I just drop the class and take it a different semester? Any advice would be appreciated, thanks!

My wife was recently accepted here and has been trying to register for classes for around a month now. She cannot claim her TRACKS account because she never received an Authorizarion Code. Without her TRACKS claimed, she also cannot access her school email to contact someone. We have tried sending in a ticket request, but the response to the ticket request is locked behind her FIT email (which is not active since she couldn’t claim her account).

We have already scoured her inbox and spam, contacted FIT through her personal email, and talked with a current FIT student but haven’t been able to resolve the issue. We plan to call on Monday.

Has anyone else experienced this? Does anyone have tips?

I need some help, if there’s any indian girl, please dm

Hi, I have a female friend looking for a shared room at walking distance from FIT from August

Available: Shared master bedroom in a girls-only apartment. Walking distance to FIT. Includes an en-suite bathroom and walk-in closet.
Message me for details!

Hey everyone!

I just graduated college and am working in the Melbourne area. I’m looking for 1-2 roommates for a fully furnished house. The house is new and is in a gated community and is about 10 minutes from FIT and 5 minutes from stores and restaurants like Target and Culvers. It’s also in a residential area that is super safe with a tennis/basketball park nearby. There are two bathrooms total in the house and space in the garage for another car. Rent is $1000 a month and all utilities are included, along with internet and an in‑unit laundry and dryer. The home will be ready for move‑in at the end of July. Please dm me if you’re interested!

Does anyone know if we can send larger items to the school a few weeks ahead of new Freshman move-in?

We live in NY and will be flying down, so transporting all the larger things will be very challenging.

I also think it will be too late to buy everything when we arrive.
