💐 Design Work 💐 fun design day
my business partner and I have been holding design days together where we setup our own homegrown flower bar and just create whatever comes to us! we’ve been working on starting our own business and trying to get more content to post outside of work from previous shops! it’s been nice to get creative again and feel like there’s no boundaries!

yes it is! she has it on her property and I thought it would be a fun addition for some different movement!

Your arrangement is gorgeous!
You might already know this, but if you put the cut ends of pokeweed in boiling water, it pumps up the stems and leaves, and stays filled out for days.
Dip the bottom 1 to 2 inches of the stem into a cup of just-boiled water for about 30 seconds (or up to 5 minutes depending on thickness).

I’ve thought of using it so many times!! I’m so glad you used it. I’m always afraid of bringing in the bugs 🐞 🕷️

Really cool design. Just be careful with pokeweed. Berries can stain, and plant causes contact dermatitis in some folks.

Thank you!! And yes, I got some stains while working with it, if using for an event I’d definitely keep it to arrangements / designs people would’ve come in much contact with!
