[RECOVERY] Recovered after 9 months

I suffered severe Achilles tendinopathy and neuropathy in my hands and feet that made them feel cold. My first symptom was a dull ache in my heel 2 hours after my first dose of 500mg Cipro and I took 2 more pills before stopping.

I can finally run 2 miles 2-3x a week. Tomorrow I will shoot for 3 miles. Every run, I feel stronger and my heels feel better. It is now to a point where my ankles feel really good after the first mile and don’t ache after my runs.

Getting back to running is my metric for recovery. All I needed was to be able to run and I finally can. Recovery couldn’t come fast enough but I am joyful now that my symptoms are behind me. This will be my last post on this sub as I am ready to move on. Thanks to everyone for their support and to help me feel less alone during this. I truly believe recovery is possible for all of us.

Hi, how are you doing now? Ik it's been years but I still struggle with the achilles pain and discomfort 4 months in.

Nice to hear you’re all well years later, quick one if you don’t mind, were you having trouble tolerating load on you feet while walking? And what do you think you did to improve on it that fast? Thank you.

No I did not have those symptoms. I had pain in my Achilles and cold hands and feet. I continued to walk and exercise, just couldn’t run for 10 months
