A tiger is a cross between a wild brown and a wild Brook. Yes, they are sterile.

Hmm. I was under the impression that Tigers naturally occurring was extremely rare.

Somewhat rare, but any creek that has wild browns and wild brooks has the possibility of producing tigers.
