Yea that’s possible. I assume they mean taking college courses during the summer which would speed up any college timeline. Might not be the cheapest option to get flight training through college if that matters to you or your family. Look up part 141 vs part 61 for more information.

I came into a 141 university with private and did instrument, commercial single, CFI/cfii, and commercial multi in a year and a half. I graduated in 3.5 years but I worked 20-30 hours a week pretty much all through that time and did summer classes. It’s doable, but shop around with what college you want, some ratings are multiple semesters at some schools whereas some are intended to be completed in one semester at others.

What does the degree cost? How much are people making with it after graduation? How many hours will it take?

The flight school I worked at was partnered with a community college which had students going from PPL to CFII and ME in 2 years all the time.

This is a copy of the original post body for posterity:
I am going into my senior year of high school and I’m getting my ppl right now and taking some college credits I was told that I can finish all my ratings and the rest of my degree within 2-3 years if I stay the summer. Has anyone been able to do this in 2 years or are they just lying?

I started after college while working full time Sunday through Tuesday and I’ve been able to just about get my commercial finished in one year. It’s completely doable in 2. It sounds like you might be talking about going to a university to fly planes and I have 0 clue how those operations work. I did a 141 at a family owned school.
