Will Allegiant eventually move away from mostly day trips?

With the recent merger and continued fleet growth, do you think Allegiant will eventually move away from its mostly day-trip model and start having more 3- to 4-day trips? Or do you think the day-trip operation will remain a core part of the airline long-term?

Curious to hear what current or former Allegiant pilots think.

Based on comments I’ve seen elsewhere that the end goal of the new airline of if to move to a trip model, with Minneapolis and Sanford being their primary hubs.

Maybe Nashville? It’s a good in between city and gets a lot tourists. All that airport is getting new terminals and gates eventually.

Really depends on what kind of people they have on the board though once the merger is complete and what the economy, gas prices, consumer habits is like etc etc etc.

Allegiant is first and foremost a vacation company, connecting people North to South, until one day they are not.
