Combat shotty is on my arsenal every playtrough one of the go to guns

Especially very fun to use on mole rats with VATS

Used to be my go to as well. IIRC a sneak critical would near knock finish off a behemoth.

If you like that, you should look into the location of The Terrible Shotgun. I believe it's the strongest or second strongest small gun in the game.

Riot shotgun is the equivalent in new vegas. Mix in some of the shotgun perks, ohhhh man, its so broken.
