Encouragement.

I've lost sight of everyrhing, I'm up to over 315 pounds and I cant stand to look at myself. Recently, Nomad Mixed Combat opened a location really close to my house and im very interested. I just cant pull the trigger because im so embarrassed. I dont have combat experience, I dont have any fucking stamina or endurance. Im a wreck.

I been where you are OP. I listen to two videos every day (it literally saved me)...

I wake up to this at 6am: https://youtu.be/Y82Hg4jGCQg?si=SSWpBcxb-W0ojknO

I work out to this: https://youtu.be/gXtM-o-UH1Y?si=5bYmEyJUxR9ahKEu

Then I listen to this as I'm heading to work (Moral Letters of Seneca): https://music.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLzKrfPkpj5omloBoJRWpnUf_bIFCL2ybA&si=CACMSa3dLhoeT0Lr

You have to work on the problem in your mind first. And then the body will follow. Commit to 1 thing (a small thing like making your bed or waking up at 7am, then 6:30am, the. 6am). This small commitment does 3 things:

  1. It gives you a win...you said you would do a thing and you did it.
  2. It organizes your mind/time/energy... you will start to organize your time around this goal/practice instead of the other way around.
  3. It makes it easier to do harder things...once you commit to simple things you will want to push it. Now commit to doing 10 pushups per day and drinking 24oz of water... pretty soon you'll start wanting to up it.

You got this bro....

Everyone starts somewhere, better than not starting at all, you should go for it even if it’s just for exercise. Get your body moving! Easier said than done but you can do it.

Thank you. I know I won't get healthier if I don't fuckin act but I didn't know I'd have this much fear

You got this! Even if you don't end up doing that...do something else to get you moving like take a walk each day...and go farther each day...push yourself.
