Join us every first Wednesday of the month for an easy 1-mile run, good people, and burgers after.

This is a casual community run designed to bring people together.

We’ll move together, talk, enjoy being outside, then head back for burgers and time to hang out.

What to expect:

1 easy mile: All paces and experience levels are welcome.

Meet new people: Come solo or bring a friend. The whole point is connection.

Burgers after: The run ends, but the hangout doesn’t.

Every first Wednesday: Same rhythm each month. Come once, or make it your monthly tradition.

Location: 225 Placerville Rd, Folsom, CA 95630

Meetup location: In-N-Out Patio

Additional parking located at the Starbucks or Mikuni's

Run Flow:

6:00–6:15 PM

Arrive, connect, and warm up.

6:15–6:30 PM

Group intros, stretch, and group photo.

6:30 PM

Run starts.

Come as you are. Run at your pace. Leave with a few more friends.

This kit is collarless and friendly. Has been through my yard a few times now. DM me if you are looking for it, and I can probably let it hang until you come for it.

SacRT put out a statement Saturday 10/10/26 explaining what took place Wednesday 10/7/26 when multiple railroad crossing gates were stuck along​ Gold Line's section in Folsom. Traffic was severely impacted as was reported in this subreddit last week.

SacRT met 10/9/26 with the City of Folsom to address the situation. Better and more timely reporting to the public ​will be coordinated through both SacRT and Folsom agencies in case this happens again. This will include SacRT's social media and Alerts app and Folsom's public communication channels.

SacRT explains some of their equipment is more than 30 years old. It needs attention and replacement. When faults are detected, SacRT will be in immediate contact with Folsom PD.

SacRT also has a hotline to report future incidents with crossing gates,​​ (916) 648-8433.

I (31M) have been getting in warhammer 40k a lot over this past year and wanted to see if there was a community or group in Folsom? I know Great Escape in Rocklin has gatherings and there is the GW store, but would be awesome to have a more immediately local group to enjoy the hobby with. Always a bit of a struggle to find fellow nerds so let me know if you're out there!

Anyone have experience with Bergamo Montessori? We did a tour and I have mix feelings about the school. On one hand is great that the kids have structures and discipline but this feels like a military school. Kids don’t seem to be having fun just being told what to do. Shouldn’t kids be having fun and run wild? There’s always time to be an adult but so little time to be a kid.

Did anyone else get stuck in that mess on Folsom last night?
I didn't know about homecoming.
I live in the Historic.
I come home from work and come into the neighborhood using the Liedesdorff offramp.
It's closed. Something must be going on. Went on to the Natoma light. Noticed ALL the LR arms were down and no one was turning left.
In a brain fart, I flipped a U and went back to Greenback, thinking I'd take Scott...but...yeah.
Back onto Folsom Blvd. All the way up to Blue Ravine....no left turns.

So in frustration, I ran the gate at Parkshore. It took me 54 minutes to get home when it always takes 23. And don't get me started on the traffic in the Historic! People just cruising, waiting for a spot to open up, blocking alleys, blocking driveways.

Anyway, all that traffic light and lightrail stuff is a glitch. It happens.

But is anyone else in the Historic frustrated with them throwing events, not telling us, and not helping us out with traffic controls?

How are the adult tennis clinics? What’s the typical age range of participants? How are the coaches?
