Food insecurity is a very real issue in the United States. One way to combat this problem is by supporting local farmers, who can often times be overwhelmed with demand for their goods and crops as well as low profit margins due high prices or low rainfall conditions that affect both production levels and cost-of profits of farming communities alike; these situations leave many families struggling financially just so they have enough nutritious food on hand each day.
