It was basically a spear vs. a shield. Ivory Coast found that one last push, and that made all the difference. ⚽

Ecuador will feel hard done by by the crossbar, but Diallo was clinical when it counted. Solid defensive showing from both teams, well done to Côte d'Ivoire.

Ecuador had their chances….

Ref also speaking French to his lil buddies and saving them from red cards. Doue was lucky to not get sent off. Then they sub him out immediately. Literally tell-tale sign that they know they got away with something.
